
eMobility is the European Technology Platform for communication networks (mobile and wireless as well as fixed networks). The mission of eMobility is to strengthen Europe's leadership in networking technology and services so that it best serves Europe's citizens and the European economy.
eMobility's role is to help develop a European strategy for exploiting these opportunities for Europe’s economy, as is done via eMobility's Strategic Application and Research Agenda. eMobility offers the participation by all members in working groups to identify new research topics and to provide justification for such research towards decision makers in industry, research and government organisations. The expertise by the community is welcome to develop the Future Networks sector further.
Interfusion Services Ltd became the fourth Cypriot member of eMobility platform, after PrimeTel Plc, University of Cyprus and University of Nicosia. Other notable members are Fraunhofer FIT, Franuhofer FOCUS, University Collage London, Alcatel-Lucent, IBM, Ericson, France Telecom, Motorola, Nokia, Motorola, Telefonica, Telecom Italia, Vodafone, British Telecom, France Telecom, Cisco Systems, COSMOTE, INTRACOM SA, Nokia Siemens Networks GmbH & Co. KG, European Standards Organisation (ETSI), το Worldwide research forum on wireless communications (WWRF) and World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
